Salman Khan convicted by Jodhpur trial court today!

The news Salman Khan convicted might not be the new news in media and Bollywood film industry. Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been found guilty in the two-decade-old Blackbuck poaching case. The veteran actor was found guilty of hunting blackbuck in 1998 while working on the film “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.

The judgement is important because this is the third poaching case against Salman Khan in Jodhpur. In the first judgement – the Bhawad case – he got a one-year sentence.  In the second case – Ghoda Farm – he got 5 years as it became the second offence of same type.

As he was found guilty today in the third case (Kankani case), he will get a minimum sentence of 6 years (being considered as repeated offender).
