Bandhana Nepal Has Written Her Name On Guinness Record For Dancing 126 Hr On A Continuous Pace
Who can stop the one who has a dream in their hand and doing hard work day and night to achieve their dream? A 17-year old girl Bandana Nepal, from Narayanthan, danced and danced and danced: She danced continuously for 126 hours in a craze and dream of achieving something big. And yes she wrote her name on the Guinness Book of World Records breaking the record of an Indian girl Kalamandalam Hemlatha and she had her record for 123 hours 15 minutes back in 2011.
The event was organized in the hall of Big Foodland restaurant located in Kathmandu. It started on November 23, Friday and stopped after she breaks the record on Wednesday afternoon. She was then awarded a prize by Guinness adjudicator. The dance event was called “Longest Dancing Marathon by an Individual”.
Bandhana Nepal is studying +2 in Business Management in Kathmandu. She was a prayer of a dancer from quite an early age and that emerge bigger when she went to Bangalore for learning dance from where she developed a passion of establishing her name in the world. The dedication, hard work, and continuous practice have led her to reach the zenith.
“I am very glad to see my daughter being able to keep the world record,” the girl’s father, Ram Nepal.The pride that this girl has given to her family, society and whole nation is inexplicable. This is not just her achievement but has printed the country name on the global platform. Its a moment of pride of every one of us.
