The five-times Ballon d’Or winner and one of the greatest footballer of this time- Cristiano Ronaldo, who has spent nine seasons with Real Madrid has agreed to join Juventus on a four-year deal. The news has been one of the hottest topics in the media lately. Why wouldn’t it be, with the number of massive fans following CR7 has with Real Madrid. Unfortunately, it will be upsetting news for the Madrid fans all over the world as one of the most celebrated stars and the top scorer in the history of Madrid with 451 goals in 438 games will leave the club.

The 33-year-old who joined Madrid in 2009 from Manchester United has won total of 16 titles including four champions leagues, two League Championship, five Club World Cups with Real Madrid. Ronaldo beside the titles has also been an example of his dedication, hard work, passion, responsibility and improvement throughout his career.

Ronaldo wrote a farewell letter to the club and the fans that started with:

” These years in Real Madrid, and in this city of Madrid, have been possibly the happiest of my life.”

And the letter ended with:

” I have reflected a lot, and I know that the time has come for a new cycle. I’m leaving, but this shirt, this shield, and the Santiago Bernabéu will continue to always feel like my own wherever I am. Thanks to all and, of course, as I said that first time in our stadium nine years ago: Hala Madrid.!””

A new journey has started for Ronaldo with a new responsibility of bringing Champions League Glory to Juventus who have only been European runner-ups in the last four years despite winning Italian League for a consecutive seven years. Ronaldo will play alongside Sami Khedira his previous teammate at Madrid who Welcomed him to Juventus.
