Zee Cine Award in Nepal


Zee Cine Award in Nepal: The prestigious ‘Zee Cine Award’ show of Bollywood Film Industry is set to be held in Nepal in the first week of December. For the further planning and studying the feasibility for the show, the team members from the TV channel including the founder of Zee TV and Indian actress Jaya Prada are in Nepal. They attended the event that was held in Prime minister KP Oli’s residence in baluatar. The team informed that they are positive about organizing  the event in Kathmandu after studying and observing  the location.

This all goes back to the time, when the jumbo team of prime minister KP Oli’s official visit to India, which also included actor Rajesh Hamal and director Dinesh DC talked about organizing the program in Nepal with their Indian counterpart.


The location for the show has already been chosen, and the show will be held either in Bhaishipati or Ghattaghar. So, the planning is being made on building a temporary structure for the show with the capacity of around five thousand people as there is presently no other permanent structure capable enough for the show. Many celebrities from Bollywood and Nepal are expected to participate in the show.

Furthermore, the director of Zee TV Subash Chandra has stated that from now onwards a new category – “Best Nepali Film” will also be added in the award show.

The show which has been organized in different parts of the world is expected to be seen by around 80 crore viewers which are going to help Nepal also in the exposure and development of tourism industry by attracting major Indian tourists.
