The ICC World-Cup Trophy has been brought to Nepal on Friday which is to be held on England and Wales next year. The nine-month trophy tour includes Nepal and USA, Nepal being included after Bangladesh. According to ICC Nepal Representative Bhawana Ghimire, it would be kept in Nepal for four days and would be taken to Pokhara, Swayambhu and Chandragiri as well.
The ICC World-Cup Trophy is currently in Pokhara where all the cricket officials and players are engaged in Pokhara Premier League (PPL). According to the sources, the trophy till then will be in Pokhara and taken to Chandragiri on October 28 and would be displayed to Prime Minister and Public as well.
The ICC World-Cup Trophy tour started from the country Dubai and headed towards to Oman, then USA, West-Indies, SriLanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and is currently in Nepal. The Trophy will then be navigated to India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, and many more countries and would reach England and Wales on February 19, 2019.
Thanks to ICC for including 11 nations for Trophy Tour who are not participating in the tournament too including Nepal, USA, and Germany to connect with the fans. The trophy will be taken to communities, schools, universities, and even people’s homes alongside iconic and unusual locations to coverup more fans and not to miss out the beloved ones.
The ICC tournament is to begin on May 30 next year when hosts country England will battle against South Africa at The Oval in London.
