Vincent Kompany Leaves Manchester City To Become Player-Manager of The Anderlecht
The 33 yrs old Vincent Kompany who had been ruling Manchester City from the past 11 years has left the club to be a manager of the Anderlecht. He has done 3 yrs agreement with the Belgium Club after 11 years of his service at Etihad Stadium as the caption of the club. It would have been a great honour and a matter of pride to the caption of such an enormous team and profound players.
Wait! It’s not that easy to have control over such a group, nevertheless it would be more daunting task and a work of responsibility to manage Anderlecht than he was at City. FA Cup final on Saturday 6-0 against Watford was his last match in the favour of City. Kompany has won 4 Premier League title, two FA Cups and four league cups from City.
Kompany mentioned openly at facebook that leaving for Belgium from City doesn’t feel real. Manchester City has given him everything and he has tried to give his best as well. The second time he posted that he is leaving for Belgium, Anderlecht. He said that he would share atmost knowledge he has gained to the young lads and inspire them never to give up.
“How often does someone get the chance to end such an important chapter, representing a club with such great history and tradition, in such a great fashion?” Kompany said.
Kompany bids farewell in an amazing and great fashionable way. Along with the Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Kompany is also one of the trio who resembles the triumph since 1968 in 2012, and they repeated the achievement in 2014 and 2018. He will greatly be missed, his achievements, history and all of his great works will never be forgotten.
